Take your first steps into outdoor rock climbing with our Intro to Rock Climbing at Harrison’s Rocks.
This full-day course equips you with the essential skills to start your climbing journey. You’ll learn how to tie into the rope, safely belay a partner, develop basic climbing techniques, and gain insight into the fascinating history of the sport.
With expert guidance, you’ll climb at your own pace—choosing routes that suit your ability while steadily building confidence. Set in the stunning sandstone crags of the Sussex–Kent border near Tunbridge Wells, Harrison’s Rocks is the perfect place to combine adventure with breathtaking scenery.
Led by a qualified and highly experienced instructor, you’ll master the foundations of outdoor climbing, from movement to safety. All equipment is provided, and with a full 8 hours on the rock, you’ll have plenty of time to learn, practice, and enjoy every moment.
